１９５６年静岡県生まれ、１９８０年武蔵野美術大学視覚伝達デザイン学科卒。
以後フリーランス・イラストレーター
１９８９年スティーヴン・キング著「ペットセマタリー」（文藝春秋社）をかわきりに
扶桑社、新潮社などのスティーブンキングの装画を担当。
他に、ディーン・クーンツ、マキャモンなど一連のモダンホラーシリーズ。
ダニエル・キース著「２４人のビリーミリガン」などの海外作品。
宮部みゆき、小野不由実など国内作家の装画を手がけ,その数は計千冊程にのぼる。
近年の代表作には、江戸川乱歩著「少年探偵シリーズ」全２６巻
モーリス・ルブラン著「アルセーヌ・ルパンシリーズ」全２０巻（ポプラ社）がある。

Biography
Born in Shizuoka prefecture in 1956. Graduated Musashino Art University,
Visual Communication department in 1980. Working as a freelance illustrator
since then.

1989, designed book cover of Stephen King’s "Pet Semetary”(published
from Bungeishunju). From then, designed Stephen King’s books published from
Fusosha, Shinchosha etc.

Also designed Dean Koontz, McCamon and other modern horror series.
Other oversea novels are "24 Billy Milligan" by Daniel Keith etc.
Designed book covers of domestic novelists such as Miyabe Miyuki,
Ono Fuyumi and others. Total numbers of books designed are more than one thousand.

Recent masterpieces are "Boy Detective"series by Edogawa Ranpo, total 26
books, "Arsene Lupin" series by Morris Rublin total 20 books from
Populasha.
